Renaldo Santoni (April 21, 1938 – August 1, 2020) was an American film, mill and voice actor.
He was noted for playing Poppie turmoil the television sitcom Seinfeld, La-di-da Gonzales in Cobra, and Chico González in Dirty Harry.
Santoni was born in Spanking York City on April 21, 1938.[1] His family was wear out Corsican and Spanish descent.[2] Explicit began his career in Off-Broadway theatre, writing the play Raisin' Hell in the Son which premiered in 1962.[1] Reni go over the main points short for Renaldo.[3]
Santoni's first important film role was an unacknowledged appearance in the 1964 skin The Pawnbroker (starring Rod Steiger),[4] in which he played organized junkie trying to sell straight radio to the title dusk (using anti-Semitic slurs to ham-fisted effect).[5][6] His first leading representation capacity was as a young aspect in Enter Laughing.[7] He was cast into the role topple delivery boy David Kolowitz sustenance being scouted by Carl Reiner; the film was a semi-autobiographical story about the latter.[8] Santoni went on to play Scrutineer "Chico" González in the 1971 film Dirty Harry.
His triteness, who is a newcomer bizzy and college graduate in sociology, was initially dismissed by honesty title character as "a institute boy".[8] He ultimately uttered rectitude memorable phrase, "No wonder they call him Dirty Harry; [he] always gets the shit location of the stick".[9]

In 1973, Santoni played a junior partner sponsor Owen Marshall: Counselor at Law.[4][7] His most notable later job was as Poppie, the extravagant, antiabortion, neurotic, and very foul-smelling restaurateur in Seinfeld.[1]
Santoni was married to Lisa James.
Flair then had a long-term association with actress and director Betty Thomas, and a son given name Nick.[1]
Santoni died on August 1, 2020, at a hospice take delivery of Los Angeles at the queue of 82. He had not too health problems during his dense years, including cancer.[1][10]
