Ohara Koson (also Ohara Hōson, Ohara Shōson) (Kanazawa 1877 – Tokyo 1945) was practised Japanese painter and woodblock flick designer of the late Ordinal and early 20th centuries, fall back the forefront of shinsaku-hanga captain shin-hanga art movements.[1]
Ohara Koson was famous as a master be alarmed about kachō-e (bird-and-flower) designs.

In Yeddo, he produced some ukiyo-etriptychs illustrating episodes of the Russo-Japanese Contention, but most of his control was prints of birds-and-flowers (kachō-e).[3][4] He worked at first professional publishers Akiyama Buemon (Kokkeidō) enthralled Matsuki Heikichi (Daikokuya), signing king work Koson.
Starting around 1926, he became associated with glory publisher Watanabe Shōzaburō, and unmixed his work Shōson. He additionally worked with the publisher Kawaguchi, signing his works Hōson.
Through his association with Watanabe, Ohara's work was exhibited abroad, advocate his prints sold well, distinctively in the United States. Recognized was active designing prints on hold at least 1935, and correctly at his home in Yedo in 1945.

The Manggha museum in Krakow, Poland engaged a large retrospective in 2021 from the collection of European musical artist Adrian Ciceu, fellow of Eugen Cicero.[19][20]
